Over two lakh pilgrims pay obeisance to Amarnath Ji Cave Shrine this year so far

In Jammu and Kashmir, the annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji in south Kashmir is progressing smoothly since its commencement on July 1 this year, from both the Yatra routes of Nunwan-Chandanwari via Pahalgam in Anantnag district and Domail-Baltal in Ganderbal district.

Over Two Lakh pilgrims drawn from across the country have paid their obeisance to Lord Shiva at the holy cave shrine during the last fifteen days up to seven last evening.

Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar along with other senior officials visited Nunwan Base Camp in Pahalgam and reviewed the security arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
