Odia Asmita Utsav 2025 in Bahrain Celebrates Odisha’s Cultural Grandeur on Global Stage

Odia Asmita Utsav organized by the Bahrain Odia Samaj, showcased the rich cultural heritage of Odisha in Bahrain. The event aimed to promote Odia identity and culture globally. The Founder Bahrain Odia Samaj Dr Arun Kumar Praharaj expressed his warm welcome and gratitude to the amazing audience

Chief Guest and Guests: Indian Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob praised the Bahrain Odia Samaj’s role in promoting Indian cultural flow abroad. Ahmed Alhaiqi, Secretary of Labor and Social Development in Bahrain, appreciated the cultural exchange between the two countries. Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik and Guru Saswat Joshi were honored with the Odia Asmita Samman and Odia Asmita Nritya Kala Samman, respectively.

Cultural Programs: The event featured various cultural performances, traditional Odia cuisine, and attire showcases by members of the Bahrain Odia Samaj. The vibrant Lasyakala team had presented a beautiful odissi , Sambalpuri , And Ranapa dance . Also the show case if GI tag product theme based ethnic walk show captivated the large audience
