A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Lashkar-e-Taiba chief and Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed and others in the money laundering case for providing money to terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
National Investigation Agency – The NIA court took cognizance of the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate under various provisions of the Money Laundering Act.
Special Judge Praveen Singh issued a production warrant against Kashmir businessman Zahoor Ahmad Shah Vatali, Algawadi Altaf Ahmed Shah alias Funtush and UAE businessman Naval Kishore Kapoor.
The court has also issued an indictment of Titali Farms and Constructions Pvt Ltd, a company of Vatali, by issuing non-bailable warrants. Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai attack, is in Pakistan while Vatali, Funtush and Kapoor are lodged in Tihar Jail.
