The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today clarified that there is no FBI team in the country to probe Bitcoin matter relating to Karnataka police. Speaking to AIR, CBI spokesperson denied reports in sections of Media that a FBI team from US has come to India to investigate a Bitcoin case of Karnataka police.
The spokesperson, however, said, CBI as the National Central Bureau for INTERPOL in India coordinates closely with international law enforcement agencies including the FBI.
