In Nigeria, hundreds of students are feared missing after gunmen raided a secondary boys boarding school in north-western part of the country.
Police spokesman Gambo Isah said that the gunmen stormed the Government Science secondary school in Kankara district late Friday night. Approximately 800 students reside in that school. Police said, during an exchange of fire, some of the gunmen were forced to retreat.
Police said that more than 200 students have been rescued while the army and air force have joined the search for the missing.
