Senior BJP leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that his party and government stand for fast development and inclusive growth. He said, NDA has clear-cut development initiatives, if voted to power in Kerala, while addressing a huge gathering in Palakkad on the first leg of his electioneering in the State. Corruption and nepotism are rampant in all spheres of life, he added.  Incidents of frequent political killings in Kerala caused grave concern, the Prime Minister pointed out.
 
Lauding Metroman E. Sreedharan’s firm decision to contest election as NDA candidate, the Prime Minister said the technocrat was a great inspiration, especially to the youths.
 
Union Minister V. Muraleedharan,  Karnataka BJP leader Sunilkumar, NDA candidates from all the 12 constituencies in the district were among those present on the occasion.
 
The Prime Minister later left for Tamilnadu for electioneering at Tharapuram, Tirupur.
