Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd) has said that national security is in safe hands that can defend the country from any external threat. The Governor was at his alma mater Sainik School Kapurthala in Punjab to participate in Old Boys Association Meet Program. On this occasion, the Governor shared his student life experiences with the students present there. Addressing the program, he said that the Sainik school is a great institution itself. The Governor said that the land of Punjab is the land of knowledge, power and sacrifice of gurus.
