MoS Coals & Mines calls for uninterrupted supply of critical minerals

Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey has called for ensuring an uninterrupted supply of critical minerals in the country. Addressing the Critical Minerals Matrix Conference organised by FICCI in New Delhi today, Mr Dubey underlined that the government has launched the National Critical Mineral Mission which aims to secure India’s critical mineral supply chain by ensuring mineral availability from domestic and foreign sources. He added that the mission has been approved at an outlay of nearly 34 thousand crore rupees for seven years.

Mr Dubey further asserted that currently, the country is dependent on different nations for critical minerals. During the event, the Minister also launched FICCI’s report on Critical Minerals.
