More than 14 crore free of cost cylinders provided to PMUY beneficiaries during Covid-19

More than 14 crore free of cost cylinders have been provided to Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) beneficiaries during Covid-19.

Under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package free of cost LPG cylinders are being provided to the beneficiaries for upto three free LPG refills till 31st December, 2020.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry said, more than seven crore 50 lakh beneficiaries have availed free cylinders under the scheme. The scheme aims at providing clean-cooking fuel to the poor households.
