Solapur: Residents of Solapur were taken aback after pieces of a missing advocate’s dead body were found on Wednesday. Advocate Rajesh Kamble was reported missing on Tuesday by the Solapur Bar Association to the Police Commissionerate, only to learn about his death a day later. Police received a tip-off about a sack found soaked in blood, which was later revealed to be that of Kamble. Police sources said the house in Pandurang Wadi was shut for five days, after which a strong smell was emanating from the house. When police checked the house, they found the sack with a dead body cut into pieces.
Police said Kamble used to have seven to eight tolas of gold on him and mobile phone. However, the gold on his body was missing, hinting the possibility of robbery as the motive. Police have registered a case of murder against unknown persons and the prime suspect is Bunty alias Sanjay Khatmal, who is also missing. Khatmal is said to have a criminal background.
