The Ministry of Commerce and Industry to bring in the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024 to further strengthen the Make in India initiative. In a statement, the Ministry said that the BRAP will help establish a seamless business regulatory framework across the country, enhancing the ease of doing business. The Ministry added that BRAP will further streamline processes, reduce compliance burdens, and implement digital solutions to make India a preferred global investment hub. It also said that the upcoming framework introduces an innovative assessment methodology, blending evidence and feedback-based evaluations for a more comprehensive and dynamic approach. BRAP was launched in 2014-15 and has acted as a transformative force in reshaping the country’s business landscape.
