Mercury drops after heavy rains in Delhi

Heavy rain along with thunderstorm hit parts of Delhi and its neighbouring areas yesterday evening, causing a sharp dip in temperature. Heavy rain also lashed the national capital early this morning.

Met Office has predicted more downpour today under the influence of a fresh western disturbance active over northwest India.

Strong winds up to 25 kilometers per hour helped improve the overall air quality in Delhi.
