Prime Minister Narendra Modi today warmly received his Malaysian counterpart, Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, in a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In a social media post, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that Malaysia is a key pillar of India’s Act East Policy and a valued partner in the region. After that, the Malaysian Prime Minister visited Rajghat and paid tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
