Major shuffling in BCCI coaching staff in view of recent performance of team

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to part ways with assistant coach Abhishek Nayar and two other coaching staff members, in a major shakeup following India’s disappointing performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The BCCI has also relieved Fielding Coach T Dilip and Trainer Soham of their duties, as the governing body had previously hinted at a review of personnel who have completed a three-year tenure with the national team. This decision comes amidst a series of poor results for the Indian cricket team, particularly after their defeats in the Test series against New Zealand and Australia last year.
