Lakshya Sen storms into final of German Open Badminton beating world no. 1 Viktor Axelsen

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen stormed into the final of the German Open after beating world no. 1 Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in Berlin last night. Sen defeated the top-seeded Danish shuttler 21-13, 12-21, 22-20 in the men’s singles semifinal.

Now he will face Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn in the summit clash today. Unseeded Vitidsarn won his semifinal 21-13, 21-12 against fifth seed Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia.
