In Kerala, isolated rain accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms is likely to continue till Saturday (23rd April). The Met Department has forecast strong wind gusting at a maximum speed of 40 kilometres per hour. Heavy rain fall is likely in Pathanamthitta, Idukki and Malappuram districts, where Yellow alert is in force today. Weather experts said that hot and humid condition would persist in Kerala for at least a week.
