Kangana Ranaut recently met the Censor Board of Film Certification for Mental Hai Kya clearance, which was later cleared with a title change and no major cuts, revealed the actress. While fans were eagerly waiting for the trailer of the film, they might have to wait longer due to the title change.
However, the makers a day later has announced the new name of the film. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, Mental Hai Kya will now be called as ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’. The film earlier was opposed by Indian Psychiatric Society for discrimination based on the title.
A spokesperson from Balaji said, “Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and our intention of not offending or hurting anyone’s sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title of the film Mental Hai Kya to ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.”
“Both Kangana and Rajkummar have outdone themselves in this thriller and we can’t wait for audiences to witness it on the big screen.” Spokesperson further added.
Censor Board has cleared the film with U/A certification with minor changes, which they are happy to comply with , revealed Kangana post a meeting with the CBFC members.
The film is all set for release on July 26th without competition.
