Jharkhand govt approves opening of all educational institutions form March 1

In Jharkhand, the State Government in a meeting held late last evening has decided to open higher secondary school sections, colleges, training and coaching institutes, skill development centres, parks, cinema halls and sports stadiums with terms and conditions from 1st of March.

Chairing a meeting with the State Disaster Management and Health Department yesterday evening, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has decided to re-open the senior secondary schools, colleges, coaching and training institutes from March 1 onwards. Cinema halls, community halls and parks in Jharkhand with 50 per cent capacity will be operational. Sports stadiums and swimming pools will be reopened only for players. Mr Soren has also instructed to intensify the sample collection and testing at airport and Railway Stations in the state and provide special attention to travellers coming to the state from outside. He also directed to ensure 100 per cent vaccination of health workers before reopening of Anganwadi Centres in the state.
