In the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, arrangements for the smooth conduct of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2020 are finalized which is going to be held tomorrow.
AIR correspondent reports that the UT Administration has designated 27 Examination Centres in Jammu for the smooth conduct of the examination.
A Committee of Officers has been constituted to put in place all necessary arrangements for receiving examination material besides delivery of the same to Examination Centres. Police authorities have been asked for providing adequate squads with the vehicles having examination material.
Jammu Municipal Corporation has been asked to sanitize and fumigate the designated centres day before and after the examination. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, wearing of face masks would be mandatory and the Supervisors have been asked to ensure display of seating arrangements of the aspirants at five different locations to avoid crowds at Examination Centres.
Besides, making arrangements of hand sanitizers at each centre keeping in view the COVID-19 protocols. Jal Shakti Department and Jammu Power Development Corporation have also been asked to provide uninterrupted water and power supply and the Police authorities are asked to deploy adequate personnel at Examination Centres for smooth conduct of the examination.
