Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, arrived in Oman on Wednesday, leading a political delegation as the second stop on his regional tour. During his visit, Abdollahian met with his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, to discuss matters of mutual interest.
As part of his Persian Gulf tour, the Iranian Foreign Minister will also visit Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. The administration of President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi is actively pursuing closer relations with neighboring countries, regional partners, and Muslim nations, as part of its campaign against the challenging US sanctions.
Iran aims to foster balanced relationships with countries worldwide, emphasizing its resilience against Washington’s maximum pressure policy and highlighting its continued progress despite sanctions and threats.
