Mumbai Indians on Monday defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets. Chasing a target of 186 runs to win, Mumbai Indians achieved the target in 17.4 overs. For Mumbai Indians, Ishan Kishan scored 58 runs, Suryakumar Yadav 43 and Tilak Varma 30 while Tim David remained not out with 24. For Knight Riders, Suyash Sharma took two wickets.
Earlier putting into bat Kolkata Knight Riders scored 185 for six in stipulated 20 overs. Venkatesh Iyer made a superb 104 in 51 balls.
In the ongoing second match at Ahmedabad, Gujarat Titans were 42 for 2 in 6 overs against Rajasthan Royals when reports last came in. Rajasthan won the toss and opted to bowl.
