In the IPL cricket, Punjab Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 16 runs at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Chandigarh last night. Chasing a target of 112 runs set by Punjab, Kolkata were bowled out for 95 in 15.1 overs. This was the lowest total ever defended in IPL history and the lowest team total of IPL 2025.
Yuzvendra Chahal was the standout performer for Punjab Kings, claiming 4 wickets. He was adjudged Player of the Match.
Earlier, after opting to bat first, Punjab Kings were all out for 111 in 15.3 overs. Prabhsimran Singh was the top scorer for the visitors with 30 runs.
Today, the Delhi Capitals will face the Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST.
