Kinetix Engineering Solutions Limited, a Bangalore based private firm in collaboration with Marques Aviation, a UK based company, is developing ‘Eklwya’ Loyal Wingman – a stealth, multirole, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and ‘Maya’ a Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAV.
Eklawya: Air-Superiority Stealth Loyal Wingman
The Loyal Wingman is an unmanned stealth aircraft, constructed with the incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI). This UAV stealth machine uses a modular mission package with low observable design elements for minimum infrared and acoustic signatures.
The aircraft has proprietary AI algorithms that ensure secure data processing.
It is built with a Radar cross-section (RCS) that has different set of equipments or armaments for various missions including combat, ISR, counter-air, electronic intelligence, and escort of manned platforms.
The UAV employs stealth trapezoidal slender fuselage, V-tail, Serpentine air intake along with an air-air refuelling (AAR) system.
The command and control in this aircraft have both manned-unmanned teaming architecture. It also has a distributed sensor fusion.
The payloads would consist of sensors, EW systems, counter-measures & ordinances.
‘MAYA’ – MALE UAV
MAYA is a medium-altitude long-endurance UAV (MALE UAV) that has a multi-role dual-use feature.
It is being built for typical military roles & governmental missions inoculated with the hybrid powerplant, low fuel consumption & emissions.
This aircraft comes with low operational costs and bears a high capacity line of sight (LOS) and BLOS datalink.
Similar to Eklavya, Maya is equipped with proprietary AI algorithms that ensure secure data processing along with an air-air refuelling (AAR) system.
This UAV machine works with an electronically-steered array radar antenna.
Both these aircraft are highly adaptable for military missions & humanitarian, development as well as for all kinds of peacekeeping operations.
