Ministry of Health has said that on a steady decline, India’s Fatality Rate from COVID-19 has touched 1.5 per cent.
The Ministry in a tweet said, the aim is to achieve Case Fatality Rate – CFR of less than one per cent and sustain it. It said,
14 States and Union Territories are demonstrating CFR less than one per cent even today.
The Ministry said, this has been possible through ramped up medical infrastructure, effective clinical management based on a Standard Treatment Protocol, skill enhancement of ICU doctors, and use of non invasive oxygen.
