India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 113 crore mark

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed 113 crore mark. Out of the total vaccination, more than 75 crore 50 lakh doses have been given as first dose while over 37 crore 51 lakh doses have been administered as second dose. Around 60 lakh vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, over eight thousand new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country in the last 24 hours while around 12 thousand people recovered. One hundred ninety-seven people lost their lives during the period.

Till now, more than three crore 38 lakh people have recovered from COVID-19. Union Health Ministry said, the COVID recovery rate in the country now stands at 98.27 percent which is the highest since March last year. India’s Active caseload is presently over one lakh 30 thousand which is the lowest in 522 days. Over 11 lakh COVID tests were conducted yesterday. So far, 62 crore 57 lakh tests have been conducted in the country
