Indian Coast Guard and Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad seized Pakistani boat with 40 kg of drugs

The Indian Coast Guard and Gujarat ATS jointly apprehended a Pakistani boat with six crew members in the Indian waters off the Gujarat coast with 40 kilograms of heroin worth 200 crore rupees.

Coast Guard officials reports, that a Pakistani boat Al Tayyasa was observed moving suspiciously in Indian waters yesterday midnight, 40 nm from Jakhau.

On a specific intelligence input by ATS, the boat along with the crew and consignment was caught by two ICG ships near Jakhau coast in Kutch.

The boat along with the crew members is being brought to Jakhau for a further joint investigation by all agencies. This is the fifth such joint operation by the Indian Coast Guard and ATS, Gujarat last year.
