In the Women’s T20 Asia Cup, India Women team won by 30 runs through the DLS method over Malaysia. DLS method was applied due to rainfall. Put into bat, India scored 181 for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sabbhineni Meghana 69 and Shafali Verma 46 were the top scorers for India. Nur Dania Syuhada took 2 wickets for Malaysia.
Earlier Malaysia won the toss and opted to bowl. This is India’s second match of the tournament. India won their first match against Sri Lanka last Saturday.
