India sends protest note to Pakistan over Hafeez Saeed rally

India has registered its strong protest with Pakistan about Hafeez Saeed’s “Kashmir Solidarity Day” rally last Tuesday. Hafeez is the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack that killed more than 150 people.

In a note verbale, India protested against Pakistan allowing extremist and terrorist elements to use its territory to freely propagate violence and terror against India.

The Indian authorities sent the note verbale to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The United Nations designated Hafeez as a global terrorist. India has incessantly condemned Pakistan for allowing Hafeez Saeed, chief of JuD to move freely in Pakistan. Whenever India raised this issue, Pakistan has remained non-committal and has been evasive.
