Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman participated in a discussion with members of the Chamber of Industries and Commerce in Bengaluru on Sunday after the budget. Rapid work on vaccine manufacture, research
He said that due to the private sector, important works related to the manufacture, research and production of the vaccine can be completed rapidly. It was not possible for the government to get tax alone.
Private sector companies came forward and worked closely with the government at a time when the whole world was struggling with the corona epidemic. This step taken by the private sector companies proved how important their step towards life saving approach.
Significantly, more than 10 million people have been vaccinated in the country so far. At the same time more than 1 crore 6 lakh 89 thousand people have become healthy. The recovery rate has now increased to 97.25 percent in the country, while Corona’s death rate remains at 1.42 percent.
