India rejects China’s uncalled remarks on J&K at OIC meet; Says Beijing has no locus standi to comment on India

New Delhi has rejected the uncalled reference to India by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during his speech to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Pakistan.

In response to media queries on reference to Jammu and Kashmir made by the Chinese Foreign Minister in his speech to OIC, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said matters related to Jammu and Kashmir are entirely the internal affairs of India. He said other countries including China have no locus standi to comment. He added that they should note that India refrains from public judgment of their internal issues.
