Delhi: In 2015, the Modi government ordered 22 Apache AH-64E & 15 Chinook CH-47F heavy-lift helicopters from USA at Rs. 17,750 crore. The first Chinook CH47F arrived from USA today.
Last October, four pilots and four flight engineers were sent by the central government to the USA to get trained on these helicopters.
