India has strongly condemned the highly irresponsible statements made by Pakistani leadership on internal matters of India.
Briefing media in New Delhi, External Affairs Ministry Spokesman Raveesh Kumar said these statements include references to Jihad and incite violence in India. He said, this is intended to project an alarmist situation which is far from ground reality.
The Spokesman said, Pakistan needs to understand that the world has seen through their provocative and unsubstantiated rhetoric which is based on lies and deceit.
Responding to a query, Mr Kumar said Pakistan uses terror as state policy and demanded that Pakistan must act against the terror groups operating on its soil. He said, it is important for Pakistan to now start behaving like a normal neighbour.
He said normal neighbours talk and trade but do not push terrorists into a neighbouring country.
On Jammu and Kashmir situation, the Spokesman said, no hospital has reported a shortage of drug or of any disposable item.
Mr Kumar said there has been a gradual and positive improvement in the situation on the ground.
