India concludes inaugural Asian U-15 & U-17 Boxing Championships with 43 medals

India concluded its campaign with a strong performance at the inaugural Asian U-15 & U-17 Boxing Championships in Amman, Jordan, winning a total of 43 Medals, including 15 gold, 6 silver, and 22 bronze medals. The country finished second overall, just behind Kazakhstan.

On the final day, the U-17 girls won four gold medals. Khushi Chand won a close match against Mongolia’s Altanzul Altangadas 3-2, while Ahaana Sharma and Jannat earned clear 5-0 victories. Anshika secured the last gold with a first-round win over Jordan’s Jana Alalawneh.

In the boys’ U-17 category, Devansh won silver, while the team ended with one silver and six bronze medals.

BFI Interim President Ajay Singh praised the team, calling their performance proud and satisfying,g” and expressed hope for their future at the Olympics.
