Minister for Foreign Affairs of Chile, Alberto van Klaveren arrived in New Delhi last night. Mr Klaveren along with External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar will co chair the 2nd India-Chile Joint Commission Meeting in New Delhi today.
The visiting dignitary will also participate in Chile-India Business (Agriculture) Summit today and will later proceed to Mumbai.
Chile is a key partner of India in the Latin American region. The visit of Minister Klaveren will provide both sides an opportunity to review the progress in bilateral relations and explore new avenues for cooperation, further strengthening bilateral ties.
