IMD Predicts Heavy To Very Heavy Rainfall Over Southern Parts For Next 4 Days

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over southern parts of the country for the next 4 days. According to IMD, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema are expected to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall till the 18th of this month. The weather department also forecast that heavy rainfall will continue over the Western Himalayan Region, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and East India during the next six days. It said, heavy rainfall is also likely to continue over Haryana, Rajasthan, and northeast India during the next 3 to 4 days. Light to moderate rainfall is also very likely over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Jammu, Kashmir, Haryana, and Delhi during the week. The IMD further forecast that Odisha will experience heavy rainfall over the next two days and Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya will witness heavy rainfall till the 19th of this month.
