IMD Forecasts Heavy To Very Heavy Rainfall With Extremely Heavy Falls Over North Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the Cyclonic Storm Fengal over Southwest Bay of Bengal moved northwestwards. The IMD added that it is likely to move northwestwards and cross north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts today afternoon.

The weather agency has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy falls over north Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, south Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam today. The IMD also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands today.

The Met Department has also forecast dense fog conditions during late night and early morning hours in Uttar Pradesh till Monday. Further, the IMD has predicted smog and shallow to moderate fog in the morning hours and smog and mist in the evening hours over the next two days in Delhi-NCR.
