IMD forecast gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2°C-4°C over many parts of country in next 4 days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2 to 4 degree Celsius over many parts of the country in the next four days. The maximum temperatures are in the range of 39 to 40 degree Celsius over most parts of north Gujarat and less than 39 degree Celsius over the rest parts of the country.

The weather office said it is two to four degree Celsius below normal over most parts of interior Maharashtra and adjoining south Madhya Pradesh and near normal over the rest parts of the country. The IMD also forecast that no heat wave conditions are likely over any part of the country during the next four days.
