A pastor has been nabbed for molesting a minor girl. Kunnathunad police arrested Idukki native Mathew (74) in connection with the crime. The incident happened in January.
The victim’s mother filed a police complaint immediately after the girl informed her about the incident. Following this, the police officers nabbed the accused from Konnathadi region. The arrest was led by Perumbavoor DYSP NR Jayaraj. Kunnathunad Police Inspector C Binukumar, Sub Inspector Aby George, ASI Venugopalan, Senior Civil Police Officers Abdul Manaf, AO Pramod and KR Priya were part of the investigation team.
The accused was remanded after he was taken to Kolanchery court.
