Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar today expressed happiness that Swadeshi apps are in top 10 on Play Store. In a tweet, Mr Javadekar said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has in the last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode, asked citizens of the country to support indigenously developed apps, in a boost towards Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The Prime Minister had also cited a few examples among these apps – the ‘Kutuki Kids Learning app, Chingari App, Ask Sarkar App, Step Set Go App, among others.
