A Sukhoi fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed near Tezpur in Assam last evening.
The Su-30 aircraft was on a routine training mission when it crashed in the local flying area in Sonitpur district.
Both pilots ejected safely from the aircraft and have been rescued. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
