IAF chief emphasises need for rapid capability enhancements to address emerging security challenges

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, emphasised the need for rapid capability enhancements to address emerging security challenges in the evolving geo-strategic landscape. He said this while addressing student officers from the Indian Armed Forces undergoing the 80th Staff Course and the permanent faculty at the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington.

The Air Chief urged the course officers to embrace change, critically assess evolving threats, and develop adaptive strategies for future conflicts. He highlighted the importance of jointmanship, stressing the need for integrated training and operational synergy among the three Services to improve combat effectiveness. In his address, Mr Singh also provided a strategic outlook on the Indian Air Force, outlining its ongoing capability development initiatives and the significance of unified operations in modern warfare.
