Union Home Minister Amit Shah will take part in Swacchta Sewa at Mahabhairab temple at Tezpur this evening. After that, Mr. Shah will attend a cultural program dedicated to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika at Tezpur University. Tomorrow, the Home Minister will attend the 60th Raising Day of SSB at Tezpur. Akashvani Guwahati will bring live commentary of the event. After this event, Mr. Shah will grace the 13th triennial conference of All Bathou Mahasabha at Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district.
Later, he will attend the passing out parade of over 2500 Assam Police commandos in Guwahati. Mr. Shah will also release a book titled – Assam’s Braveheart Lachit Barphukan in Guwahati tomorrow. He will also inaugurate Brahmaputra Riverfront before wrapping up his visit. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his cabinet colleagues will accompany the Union Home Minister in all the events.
