The nation is observing the death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. Paying his tributes, Home Minister Amit Shah said, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya spent every moment of his life to restore the glory of mother India.
In a social media post, Mr Shah credited Pandit Deendayal for establishing the principle of Antyodaya in Indian politics and said his thoughts and principles will always inspire the countrymen to serve the people. BJP National President, JP Nadda and other party leaders also paid tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at the party Headquarters in New Delhi today.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was the leader of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh from 1953 to 1968. He has been the source of ideological guidance and moral inspiration for the BJP since its inception. His treatise Integral Humanism, which is a critique of both communism and capitalism, provides a holistic alternative perspective for political action.
