In Maharashtra, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today laid the foundation stone of the National Forensic Science University -NFSU Nagpur campus at Chicholi in Kamptee block of Nagpur district. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari were present on this occasion.The transit campus of NFSU Nagpur is in Subhash Nagar area of West Nagpur, while the new and permanent campus of NFSU Nagpur will be built over 50 acres of land in Chicholi village. The institute will offer 5 courses in the field of forensic science, forensic laws and other disciplines. The institute will have state of art laboratories ,libraries and hostel facilities.With the establishment of the new campus of NFSU in Maharashtra, the Nagpur campus will be the 11th campus of NFSU and the first one in the state of Maharashtra.
