Heatwave intensifies in 8 districts of Rajasthan; Bikaner hits highest at 47.1 degrees Celsius

In Rajasthan, the day temperature crossed 46 degrees Celsius in 8 districts yesterday. Bikaner recorded the highest temperature of this season at 47.1 degrees Celsius. The mercury in Sri Ganganagar was 46.9 degrees and Barmer recorded 46.8 degrees.

In the afternoon, five districts Jaipur, Dholpur, Kota, Bharatpur, and Bundi got some respite from the heat due to thunderstorms and light drizzle.

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, the condition of thunderstorms and rain may persist for the next two days.
