Has Aam Aadmi Party hacked the EVMs since it has swept 2020 Delhi Assembly Election winning 62 out of 70 MLAs?
At present, the question is more pressing because, back on 9 May 2017, AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj from Greater Kailash had given a live demonstration of how an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) can be rigged during a special session of the Delhi Assembly. However, the EVM used by Saurabh Bharadwaj was not the same used by the Election Commission in actual polling.

Ex Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh has tweeted a series of tweets that no machine which has chip is tamper proof. He asks, “Why no developed country uses EVM?” Even Arvind Kejriwal, man of the moment, had pointed finger of suspicion at Election Commission on 9 Feb, just couple of days ago.
What is double standard about these leaders that they turn silent the moment they win election. Suddenly, EVMs become holy with their win, and they issue character certificate of EVMs. But, their losses assassinate EVMs characters. Poor Election Commission helplessly endures all sort of allegations and accusations by such leaders with no integrity.
India is the largest democracy on the earth. Conducting Lok Sabha election is the largest project on the planet, wherein almost 90 crores voters participate. Election Commission is an autonomous body. However, when Congress was ruling, it lost 2014 Lok Sabha election so badly. Now, BJP is ruling, it has lost fifth assembly elections in row. Don’t these results prove autonomy of Election Commission?
The world is in awe with India’s electoral process. Developed countries consult India how to conduct free and fair election. But, at home such immoral leaders deliberately spoil the democratic image of the country to hide their failures. India is ashamed of them. Election Commission must take action such unethical leaders.
