Haryana CM meets PM Modi, apprises about relief work in State

In Haryana, several parts of north Haryana remained flooded following rains. Rains in Himachal Pradesh swelled almost all rivers of the State causing water logging in nearby areas.
The weather remained clear at most places yesterday and today in the region, bringing much relief to the people.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal in his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi apprised him about the relief work carried out in the State. The Chief Minister will be visiting Ambala district today to take stock of the situation.

NDRF and Army are all unitedly engaged in relief and rescue operations. Food, water and essential items are being delivered to the affected people. All the departments will take up the repair work and the situation is expected to become normal in the next 24 to 48 hours.
