The gross Goods and Services Tax, GST revenue collected in December, 2022 is over 1 lakh 49 thousand crore rupees. Of which, CGST is 26 thousand 711 crore rupees, SGST is 33 thousand 357 crore rupees, IGST is 78 thousand 434 crore rupees and cess is over 11 thousand crore rupees. Finance Ministry said, the GST revenues is 15 percent higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year.
During the month, revenues from import of goods was 8 percent higher and the revenues from domestic transaction are 18 percent higher than the revenues from these sources during the same month last year. The Ministry said, the total revenue of Centre is 63 thousand 380 crore rupees and the States is 64 thousand 451 crore rupees after regular settlements in the December, last year.
