Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the government will look into the matter related to imposing tax on Disability pension for military personnel.
He was replying to Congress member Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury who raised the issue during zero hour in the Lok Sabha.
The Minister said that the matter has been brought to his notice and that he will look into it. He also said that defence preparedness and the interests of the armed forces personnel are the top priorities of the NDA government.
Mr Singh said, it was the NDA government which implemented the One Rank One Pension which had been pending for the last 40 years.
