Govt to take final decision within next 2-days on class 12 board exams

Government will take a final decision within the next two days on whether to conduct class 12 board exams amid the Covid Pandemic. Attorney General K K Venugopal told this to Supreme Court bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari which was hearing a plea seeking directions to cancel the class 12 exams of the CBSE and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, CISCE in view of the current situation.

The plea filed by Supreme Court Advocate Mamta Sharma asked for directions to the Centre, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) to cancel the CBSE board exam 2021 and ICSE Class 12 exams in the view of deadly coronavirus infection.
